Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MLDR is operated by Pilot Investment Capital LLC, doing business as MLDR (Major League Drone Racing)(“MLDR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). If you have questions about this policy or your data, email info@themldr.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information

Name, email address, password credentials, and account role. You may also add an optional profile photo and profile details such as a bio, city or state, and social handles.

Profile, team, and league activity

Pilots and teams you follow or favorite, fantasy teams and picks, predictions, draft participation, badges, points, and engagement such as likes, votes, and RSVPs.

Messages and content you post

Direct messages, league and race chat, posts, comments, photos, videos, and any other content you upload or submit, including vehicle, drone build, or competition entries and the details you attach to them.

Orders, payments, and registrations

Purchases and registrations such as event tickets, vendor and competition entries, merchandise and physical goods, memberships, courses, magazine access, and sponsorship packages. This includes the items ordered, amounts, order status, and the identifier of the payment transaction so we can match a payment to an order.

Donations

Donation amounts, the campaign or fund you designated, and any dedication or message you choose to include. Donation receipts are issued in the name and email address you provide.

Event tickets

Buyer name, email, and phone number, the ticket tier and quantity, the event, and check-in status.

Payment card details

We never see or store your full card number. Card data is entered directly into Stripe’s secure checkout and is handled by Stripe under its own privacy terms. We receive only confirmation of payment and non-sensitive transaction details.

Device and analytics data

Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, pages and features you use, referring pages, and timestamps. We use this to keep the service secure, fix problems, and understand which features are used.

3. How we use information

• To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
• To run leagues, races, fantasy games, drafts, predictions, and community features.
• To process orders, payments, registrations, tickets, memberships, and donations, and to issue confirmations and receipts.
• To deliver email you asked for, such as ticket confirmations, event notices, and account messages.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To keep the service safe: preventing fraud, abuse, spam, and unauthorized access, and moderating content.
• To meet legal, tax, accounting, and compliance obligations.
• To improve and develop the service using aggregated or de-identified usage information.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Third parties who process data for us

We share information only with providers that help us operate the service, and only as needed for that purpose:

• Base44 — application hosting, database, authentication, and file storage. Base44 processes data on our instructions as our service provider.
• Stripe — payment processing for purchases, memberships, and donations, including card and bank-based payment methods. Stripe acts as an independent payment processor and its own privacy policy applies to the payment information you give it.
• Email and communication providers — used to deliver transactional email such as ticket confirmations and receipts.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect our rights and the safety of our users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will tell you before your data becomes subject to a different policy).

5. How long we keep information

We keep account and profile information while your account is open. If you delete your account, we close it, disable sign-in, and remove or anonymize your personal details from active systems, as described on our Account Deletion page.

Some records must be kept longer: order, ticket, membership, sponsorship, and donation records, payment confirmations, tax records, and anything needed to defend legal claims are retained for the period required by applicable law and accounting practice. Content you posted publicly may remain visible until it is removed or until your request to remove it is completed.

6. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts for minors must be created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian where required, including through our school and minor-league programs. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, email info@themldr.com and we will delete it.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access and correction — review and update your name, photo, bio, and contact details in Settings at any time.
• Delete your account and data — delete your account in the app or email us; see Account Deletion.
• Delete content — remove posts, photos, and messages you created, or ask us to remove them.
• Email preferences — unsubscribe from non-essential email using the link in the message, or email us. We will still send transactional messages, such as ticket confirmations and receipts.
• Privacy choices — choose whether your email is shown publicly and whether your vehicle or entry profile is public or private.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we hold, to receive a copy, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@themldr.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. How to delete your account and data

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside the app:

• Sign in and open your account menu, then choose Settings.
• On the Profile tab, scroll to the Danger Zone section.
• Choose Delete Account, type DELETE to confirm, and confirm again.

You are signed out as soon as your account is deleted, and a confirmation is then required to create a new account. You can also email info@themldr.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. Full details, and what must be kept for legal and financial records, are on the Account Deletion page.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. Sign-in is managed for us by our hosting provider. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and if the change is significant we will notify you by email or in the app.
